Most transit riders arrive to their local stop by walking or biking. This is a problem for local transit because the Orlando Metro has the most dangerous roads for cyclists and pedestrians in the USA. While our focus is on transit, the intersection between road safety and transit is impossible to ignore. To help local advocacy efforts for safer streets, CFL4Transit has launched the Pedestrian and Cyclist Crash Explorer.

The CFL4Transit Crash Data Explorer allows users to explore patterns of pedestrian and cyclist crashes in Greater Orlando to understand their connection to different communities and built environments.

This open source program was developed by Jonathan Stiles at Ohio State University and provided to CFL4Transit to promote pedestrian and cyclist safety in Greater Orlando.
